09 Nov Children’s Hospital Pyjamas – From the Moorland Family to Another
As a socially conscious organisation, we have selected Children’s Hospital Pyjamas as our way to give a little more to society this term. Children’s Hospital Pyjamas are a UK based charity, who collect donations of brand new pyjamas, from the public, and then donate to Hospitals, Hospice’s, School Hospital Teams and Women’s refuges up and down the country. These are then given to poorly or less fortunate children who are inpatients.
We are asking that donations come in the form of brand new pyjamas; these can be brought to school by the children. To make giving as simple as possible please see the Amazon wish list linked below, as guidance for the type of Pyjamas to buy.
As a polite note can we please ask you ensure there are no fluffy or Christmas themed pyjamas as the children would like to wear their pyjamas all year round. We also ask that students buy pyjamas for their size, this way we will get varied sizes to donate.
Moorland School will be holding fund-raising events throughout the Christmas Term to raise the profile of this charity including two one off events for the students, stay tuned for more information! All pyjamas must be donated by the 13th of December to either Miss Tyler in Reception or Miss Pinnington in the Media Studio.
