Junior School – 5 -7 years old

Within the Junior School, our aim is to provide individualised learning for each child. Our small class sizes provide us with this unique opportunity and allows us to set personalised targets for each child.

The children are assessed each half term allowing us to regularly evaluate their understanding and progression throughout the academic year. These assessments also allow us to frequently evaluate the quality of our teaching and learning.

Senior School – 11-16 years old

Choosing the right school for your children’s social, emotional and academic journey is essential, and as a parent we can often only be guided by our ‘gut feelings’, as to whether this is going to be the right environment, and ‘fit’, for our children.

Moorland School offer parents and children a free taster week experience, at any point within the academic year, so that parents can gain a more informed decision, by seeing how happy and confident their children return back home from experiencing life experiences at Moorland. Indeed, many members of staff have also chosen Moorland to educate their own children, such is their confidence within the school.

Moorland Ballet Academy

International Ballet School

Moorland International Ballet Academy provides students with the technical training, conditioning and opportunity to turn their passion into a professional vocation.

Our courses offer a unique holistic approach o the study of ballet. A student must take the journey of discovery and be given the right guidance and support to allow this to happen.

Well-being and pastoral support are embedded into the foundations of our Ballet Academy. We train both the artist and the technician which requires a student to feel secure and happy to fulfil their potential. A nervous and fearful student will not achieve success or manage a career and the expectations placed on a professional dancer.
