Our online learning progresses positively and we are so happy to see all our students adapting so enthusiastically to what are exceptional and difficult circumstances. Life at the moment is challenging for all of us, but by working together and supporting each other we know we can emerge from this stronger and more resilient.

We continue to receive amazing feedback from both parents and children alike and it is great to see our students continuing to thrive and learn, even in lockdown. We want to thank all of you for your efforts thus far and we look forward to being part of your learning journey in the weeks ahead.

The pursuit of excellence is what drives us at Moorland and we want every child in our care to be the very best they can be. We are determined to not allow circumstances out of our control to detrimentally effect our offering, and therefore the progression of children entrusted to the Moorland family.

Here in school, we understand that not all children learn in the same way and this is where our excellent team make such a difference. We offer personalised tuition to all students in order to support, guide and get the best out of everyone. We also understand that all children are unique and a ‘one size fits all’ education, is not the Moorland way.

Our small class sizes allow for a more tailored education and we want to remind you that although we cannot be together, this personalised care is still on offer. We are able to provide bespoke learning plans for all students, allowing all children to thrive within our classrooms and at home. If you at any point feel any concern about your child’s engagement, then please request closer tuition which is requestable at any point.

Instilling confidence, especially with the core subjects of Maths and English, is imperative to any education; they are the backbone of all other things. From the foundations of learning in the Infant School all the way through to Seniors, we focus on working with all students to get the best out of them and make them feel assured in their abilities. Once again, we want you to feel safe in the knowledge that although traditional classroom teaching isn’t an option right now, we are still on hand to listen to any concerns regarding your child’s education and endeavour, as always, to bridge that gap as quickly as possible.

It is always important to remember that as part of the Moorland family, you are never alone.

In celebration of Martin Luther King Day which took place on 18th January it seems fitting that we close with this:

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you have to do, you have to keep moving forward”.

If you would like more information on how you can get additional resources or support, please contact either your childs teacher directly or feel free to contact myself.

Warm Regards

Mr J Harrison[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”64964″ img_size=”large” qode_css_animation=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
