School Transport Arrangements
To help our locally based day pupils, we provide a daily return bus service on eight routes, covering up to a 50-minute drive-time radius of the school.
Our routes cover the following areas:
- Darwen Services/Haslingden/Rising Bridge/Great Harwood
- Skipton/Foulridge/Barnoldswick/Thornton in Craven
Costs are £300 for Route 1 and £400 for Route 2. To enquire about our bus service and understand whether your route is 1 or 2, please contact Lisa Kellow in the School Office at 01200 423833 or email@example.com.
Additional Points to Note:
- Moorland Transport also offers an airport/train collection and drop-off service for boarders, at the beginning and end of each term and half-term holiday. There is no additional charge for this service.
Labor Omnia Vincit – Work Conquers All
Below is a list of each member of staff at Moorland School, what they do, and their e-mail address so you can contact them directly if you have any queries.
Staff will try to respond to your messages as quickly as possible. However, we ask parents to understand that teachers cannot always respond during the school day due to their classroom commitments. Some teachers do respond to e-mails in the evenings or at weekends as part of their preparation for school but as you might expect, they do this from goodwill and of their own choice as to how they manage their workload.
As a guideline, teaching staff will aim to respond to all e-mails within a period of three working days during term time.
