Prehistoric Art!!

During our Art Enrichment session, we explored prehistoric art and examined some of the earliest known works created by humans.

These featured animal imagery, which the children recreated using charcoal with British wildlife in mind. The children then gathered natural materials—leaves, flowers, seeds—and combined them with spices to create their own ‘paint,’ which they used to depict human and animal figures, similar to the cave art we studied earlier in the session.
