Seeing our students as an extension of our own family is paramount in the levels of success and happiness we deliver. We understand that every child is unique and this should be reflected in their learning journey. We prepare our students academically and socially in preparation for successful and fulfilling lives.

Helping Children Reach Their Full Potential
As a non-selective independent school, we enrol children based upon their behaviour which allows us to ensure that all children learn in a happy environment.
Children are fully assessed when they join Moorland to help us identify any educational differences or special requirements for individual learning styles. We also aim to identify all areas of strength within students. This allows us to deliver teaching that allows each student to reach their academic potential.

At Moorland, the school day doesn’t have to end at 4pm.
✨ Open 8am–6pm, inclusive of fees, no booking required.
✨ Fresh sandwiches served each afternoon.
✨ Between 4pm–5pm, our children benefit from working on their individual targets with our dedicated teachers. Whether that’s building early reading confidence, strengthening core skills, or preparing for the 11+.
✨ From 5–6pm, children unwind with relaxed, happy play.
Our wrap-around care supports busy working families, offers more precious family time and is completely optional and flexible for all.

A little rain (and a lot of mud!) never stops our youngest explorers.
Today’s adventure was all about puddle jumping, muddy hands, teamwork and embracing the great outdoors in all its autumn glory.
These sessions build confidence, resilience and a real connection with nature! 🥾🍂💛

Our Key Stage Two pupils stepped confidently into the role of real-life helpers during their Mini First Aid training! 💚
They learned how to respond to a range of situations - burns, bleeding, breaks, choking and head bumps. They even practised basic CPR skills. Potentially life-saving learning. 🏥
The children showed brilliant teamwork, asked thoughtful questions and demonstrated such maturity throughout the whole session.
We’re incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and the confidence they’ve gained. These vital skills will stay with them for life. 🌟🩹

Be Confident in Choosing Your Child's Education
We believe every child has the right to a high standard of education which is why we are academically non-selective. We select students based on their behaviour and personal attributes and combine this with a dedicated teaching and pastoral team. We strive to educate your child to the highest academic level, whilst ensuring they stay grounded.
We want you to feel confident in choosing Moorland to educate your child, which is why we operate an ‘open door’ policy with regard to parental visits. Our dedication to education is reflected in our students’ success.
