Clitheroe Market

Year 5 and 6 students visited Clitheroe Town Centre on Tuesday, calling in at Booths supermarket and our wonderful local market.

We were very proud of our children as they engaged with our local community and learned more about food sources, nutritional values, and the importance of healthy eating; exploring various food items available and comparing nutritional information to better understand where our food comes from and how it can impact our health.

They were able take part in discussions about their food choices and to consider the nutritional value of what they buy and consume, as well as tasting some of the lovely produce!
