Gwendoline founded our wonderful nursery in 1988 and gave of herself tirelessly in the nurturing of our children.
The Harrison Family have recently marked what would have been Gwendoline Mundy’s 100th birthday year and the whole school will be marking her amazing life and contributions, which have enriched the lives of our children and entire school community.[/vc_column_text][/qode_elements_holder_item][qode_elements_holder_item vertical_alignment=”top” horizontal_alignment=”right” advanced_animations=”no”][vc_single_image image=”65531″ alignment=”right” qode_css_animation=””][/qode_elements_holder_item][/qode_elements_holder][vc_empty_space height=”25px”][vc_column_text]‘I lived with my grandmother from the age of fifteen and she has shaped my life and instilled the traditional family values that are embedded within the foundations and fabric of our small school.
Moorland School is a magical, exceptional school and we know from our parents that they believe Moorland School & Nursery is the very jewel within the heart of the Ribble Valley.
The school knew my grandmother as Gwendoline, strong, honest and proud and I have been so very blessed and privileged to have known her as nan, my second mum, our matriarch and best friend.
I know that many of us have recently lost loved ones under very difficult times, but in our love for them, they will always live within us; hoping for a brighter happier future for you all as we approach our festive season.
