Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died aged 96
The Royal Family have made an official statement, and it is with great sadness and anguish the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II has been confirmed. At the age of 96, HM Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral Castle with her beloved family at her side.
Pre-School Graduation 2022

As part of Storytelling week, we have explored many new worlds, been introduced to amazing people, and seen a glimpse of their exciting lives. Students from all areas of the school came together to celebrate literature; from the books by Julia Donaldson to the wonderful world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, stories of homelessness, and the Shakespeare play of Macbeth.

Holocaust Memorial Day 2022
In recognition of Holocaust Memorial Day, our senior school students have been learning about the Holocaust in their history lessons and taking time to reflect on past events.
Junior’s Move Ability Day
The Junior students had an extremely exciting visit from Move Ability for a ‘Go Me’ day. This session allowed the children to reflect on a range of emotions, discuss their wellbeing, use British Sign Language, and build strategies for emotional resilience in the future.
Teachers and Pupils celebrate new head’s first term
Deborah Frost started as headteacher in September 2021, following her previous roles of both business manager and assistant head at the school.
Christmas time at Moorland
There has been something for everyone during our final week before Christmas break, students had the chance to be part of Christmas crafts, amazing activities, had festive food, and sang magical music!
Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day
All of our students enjoyed their final day of term and getting the chance to show off their Christmas jumpers! The students and teachers all wore jumpers raising funds to help Save the Children continue with their amazing work.
House Cross Country Competition!
As part of our house events, students and teachers have participated in a cross-country event throughout the school grounds each representing their schoolhouses. This was the first competition of our house events for this school year with many more planned for 2022.
