Trip To Watch The China Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra

a wonderful evening at the Bridgewater Hall

Moorland Ballet Academy students had a wonderful evening at the Bridgewater Hall, watching the China Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra’s, in their Manchester debut concert. The performance was a celebration of Eastern and Western composers, which was a privilege to hear and visually spectacular to watch being played.

Ballet Directors Lynsey and Simon Kidd will be delivering a Summer course in Shenzhen to student from all over China. The Orchestra kindly presented Mrs Kidd with their 40th anniversary celebratory silk and have invited our Directors to visit whilst there in July. Mr Kidd had the pleasure of talking to the TV news cameras and sharing information about the exciting course and developing balletic talent China.

Moorland students were a credit as always and behaved impeccably whilst taking inspiration from the marvellous concert. We look forward to further opportunities of cultural development and to welcoming students from the Shenzhen region into Moorland School soon.
