A Day of Magical Festivities!

Our Christmas Fair transformed a Sunday in November into a magical spectacle that delighted all who attended! From the enchanting grotto where Santa held court, to festive workshops in the Willows, delightful seasonal treats, and a bustling Christmas Market in the Sports Hall, joy radiated from every corner. Witnessing families and friends immersed in the festive spirit was truly heartwarming.

Special thanks to Kimi at Mums in Business (MIB) North West for her invaluable assistance in organising the stall holders for the event. The feedback we received was phenomenal, with Santa’s Grotto earning the title of ‘best in show.’ Santa’s popularity was evident in the long queue that stretched out the door, and his commendable use of Makaton added an extra special touch.

Culinary delights were provided by The Cook Truck, Pendle Pizza, and Ninja Coffee, while the school itself served up delicious bratwurst and BBQ jackfruit. We were honoured to host double award-winning author Kirsty-Louise Garbutt, whose presence added an extra layer of enchantment. The children (and adults) were captivated by her theatrical reading.

The Creative Station workshop and Alternative Florist, along with the reindeer food workshop, provided engaging activities for all. The Sports Hall, hosting 40 stalls, buzzed with activity, and the theatre company ‘ReAct Academy’ delivered entertaining Christmas songs throughout the day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing staff and dedicated stallholders whose efforts made this celebration a resounding success! Despite the challenging weather conditions, we estimate that roughly 1000 people joined us throughout the day—an incredible turnout, and our first Christmas event at the school in six years!
